1. Who collects my data?
In the context of your registration to the panel, the provision of your information, the information provided on your profile, your responses to the market research pre-selection questionnaires, and your use of the market research institute's online panel functionalities,

2. What data is collected?
In addition to your contact details (first and last name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number) required for registration, you can complete your panelist profile with information about yourself (e.g. date of birth, occupation, whether you smoke, hobbies, etc.), your household (e.g. family composition, household equipment, etc.), and information about your ownership and use of products and services. Your bank details are required to receive compensation for your participation in market research.
3. Why is my data used?
Your panel registration is necessary for us to send you invitations to participate in surveys, market research, and product testing, either online or in person.
Registration is free of charge and is based on your free and voluntary consent. You will not be obliged to participate in studies and surveys, and you may unsubscribe at any time online from your user interface or by e-mail to dpo.uk@sago.com.
4. Is my data secure and to whom will it be transmitted?
The data collected concerning you is stored and processed centrally on the internal servers of the Sago Group, to which we belong, located at the Corporate Office, 101 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey 08830, United States of America.
All Group employees with access to data must comply with data protection legislation, which is regularly monitored by our Data Protection Officer and Compliance Department. The Group is also committed to ensuring an appropriate level of data protection by adhering to the Data Privacy Framework and signing internal Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long will my data be kept?
Your data is kept securely for the duration of your panel registration. Your data will be deleted 72 hours after you request the deletion of your account.
6. What rights do I have to my data and how can I exercise them?
Pursuant to the UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
- • right of access,
- • right to rectify inaccurate personal data,
- • right to erasure,
- • right to limit data processing,
- • right to object and
- • right to data portability
Most of these rights can be exercised by yourself, directly from your user interface. You can also send your request by e-mail to our Data Protection Officer:dpo.uk@sago.com.
